Made for a closer look

The difference is in the space.

See the open tooth pattern, the curve of the handle, and the bamboo grain.

01

Room between the teeth

Ten long teeth, with generous space between them. Gently work through small sections, beginning at the ends of your hair.

02

A handle to hold onto

The long, curved handle gives you a clear place to grip. Warm bamboo grain runs through the head and handle, with natural variation from comb to comb.

03

Simply packaged

Each comb comes in its own kraft box with a window. Keep one in your routine, or choose a pair to share.

A slower moment in your day

A simple tool.
A gentle approach.

Use the wide spacing to work through small sections at your own pace. How a comb feels depends on your hair’s texture and condition.

01 / Separate

Start with a small section.

Use your fingers to loosen larger tangles first, then bring the comb to the ends of your hair.

02 / Take your time

Work your way up.

Use slow, light strokes from the ends upward. If the comb catches, pause and loosen the tangle instead of pulling.

03 / Keep it ready

A little care afterward.

Remove loose hair and store the comb dry. A simple habit that keeps it ready for your next styling moment.

What makes this comb different?

The unusually wide spaces between its teeth are its defining feature. It is made from bamboo, has a curved handle, and comes in an individual kraft box. Studio images use styled backgrounds based on our real product photographs. Choose “Real photo” in the gallery to see the original comb.

What can I use it for?

Gentle everyday combing and separating small sections of hair. Start at the ends and work upward with light strokes. Suitability depends on your hair’s texture, condition, and tangles. Pause if it catches; do not force it through knots.

This is a broadly spaced styling comb, so it is not intended for the precision of a fine-tooth comb.

How should I care for the bamboo?

Remove trapped hair after use. If needed, wipe the comb with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry it fully. Store it somewhere dry. Avoid soaking, prolonged moisture, and direct heat. Inspect the teeth occasionally, and stop using the comb if it develops a splinter or rough edge.

Keep bamboo out of standing water and store it dry between uses.

Who handles payment and shipping?

Your order will be placed through Thriftway Pharmacy’s existing Shopify store at thriftwaynyc.com. The Thriftway team handles payment, fulfillment, and order support.

Call 212-956-1100 to ask about purchasing in person at 646 Tenth Avenue, New York, NY 10036. Online pickup is not currently enabled in Thriftway’s checkout, so please arrange any in-person purchase with the team.

What is the return policy?

Personal care goods are excluded from Thriftway’s standard return policy. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact the pharmacy promptly so the team can help. Contact Thriftway before sending an item back. Read the full return policy ↗.

What comes in the two-comb option?

Two of the same bamboo comb, each in its own kraft box. The pair price is $15, or $7.50 per comb—a saving of $2.98 compared with buying two at the single price of $8.99.
